Further EMIR Rules Expected in Q2
On 27 February 2013, the European Commission published an updated summary of the legislative and non-legislative proposals it expects to adopt between 21 February and 31 December 2013.
Among the non-legislative acts relating to EMIR expected to be adopted in Q2 2013 are EU Commission delegated regulation regarding:
- fees to be charged to trade repositories; and
- procedural rules for imposing fines or periodic penalty payments to trade repositories.
