Client: Global Investment Bank
Project Objective
DRS supported a global investment bank in meeting the challenge of amending a large portfolio of ISDA documentation to comply with EMIR Portfolio Reconciliation and Transaction Reporting requirements.
How We Helped
The team reviewed the existing documentation, and after seeking approval from stakeholders, produced and issued draft documentation to clients. The negotiations were then managed, with escalation to appropriate stakeholders of any amendments requested by clients which fell outside of current policies and guidelines. Signed copies of the documentation were then procured and closing forms were completed and submitted.
Results
By tailoring the composition of our team to align with the project deliverables, DRS provided an efficient and cost-effective solution that allowed the client to meet a significant regulatory milestone.
Impact
Our resources enabled the client to meet a vital regulatory deadline without impacting in-house activity. Enhanced Management Information gave the client complete confidence that the project was being delivered on time and on budget. Our participation throughout the process ensured a seamless post-deadline transition.
